How do I know what size electric heater I need?

Electric heaters are sold by a fixed kW rating, and getting the size right matters more here than with wood-burning.

If the heater is undersized, your sauna simply won't reach temperature. Sizing depends on your room's cubic volume plus extra allowance for any glass, tile, or uninsulated surfaces.

Do I need an electrician to install an electric sauna heater?

Yes. Electric sauna heaters are hardwired. A licensed electrician installs the dedicated circuit, including the small 120V compact units. Most home heaters use 240V, 1-phase. Some commercial SKUs use 208V. Match the nameplate to the panel before you order.
What's the difference between wall-mounted and floor-standing heaters?

Wall-mounted heaters save floor space and suit smaller or tighter rooms.

Floor-standing models hold more stones, giving a stronger löyly and a more traditional sauna feel.
Can I control my sauna heater from my phone?

Yes. Several of our electric heaters offer app-based control, so you can start your sauna, adjust the temperature, and monitor your session remotely.

How long does a sauna heater take to heat up?

Most heaters reach a comfortable bathing temperature in 30 to 60 minutes, depending on room size, insulation, and heater output.
