Infrared Saunas

Infrared saunas heat your body directly rather than warming the air around you, using full-spectrum panels that combine near-, mid-, and far-infrared wavelengths.

Finnmark's models plug into a standard 120V outlet and reach up to 170°F in under an hour, no electrician required. Explore sizes below to find the right fit for your space.

FINNMARK DESIGNS: BUILT FOR INFRARED

Finnmark has spent decades focused on one thing: infrared.

Their Spectrum Plus heaters are among the only UL-listed infrared heaters in the industry, and every model is ETL-listed for safety.

Rather than a sprawling catalog, Finnmark keeps its lineup small and focused, so every sauna gets the same level of engineering attention.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does an infrared sauna need special electrical work?

It depends on the size. Smaller Finnmark models plug into a standard 120V outlet; no electrician is needed. Larger models run on 240V and require a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician.

What does "full spectrum" infrared mean?

Full spectrum means the heater combines near, mid, and far infrared wavelengths in one panel rather than just one type. Each wavelength penetrates differently, near infrared closer to the surface, far infrared deeper into tissue, so a full-spectrum design covers the full range instead of specializing in just one.

How hot does an infrared sauna get, and how long does it take to heat up?

Finnmark infrared saunas reach up to about 170°F and heat up in under an hour, faster than most traditional saunas.

Does the sauna include WiFi or app control?

Yes. Every Finnmark sauna includes WiFi-enabled control through an app, so you can start your session and adjust settings remotely.

What about EMF exposure?

Finnmark's infrared panels are designed as low-EMF, measuring under 3 milligauss, well below the levels associated with older infrared heater designs.

Does the type of wood matter?

Yes. Finnmark saunas use an antimicrobial Western Canadian cedar interior and a heat-treated aspen exterior that resists rot and warping, a durable pairing built specifically for infrared cabin use.
