Founded in 2014 by Andrus Vare, a thermal engineer who inherited his grandfather's century-old smoke sauna, Saunum set out to fix something every sauna has struggled with: heat that pools at the ceiling while your feet stay cold. The result was a patented air-blending system built into every heater, engineered with Tallinn University of Technology.
The AirSolo Wall will enhances the performance of any electric sauna heater and allows bathers to experience the same level of heat and steam regardless of whether they are seated on the upper or lower bench.

What does the Climate Equalizer actually do?

In a typical sauna, the air near the ceiling can run far hotter than the air at your feet, hot on your head, cold on the floor. Saunum's built-in fan system pulls that trapped heat down and blends it with cooler air from below, cutting the temperature gap by roughly 60% and producing softer, more breathable steam.

What's the difference between the Air and Air L series?

Air (5 and 7) fits standard home saunas up to about 565 cubic feet. Air L (10, 13, and 15) is built for larger rooms, cabin-style saunas, and commercial spaces, with higher output and greater stone capacity.
I already have a heater. Can I still get Saunum's technology?

Yes. The AirSolo is a standalone device that adds Saunum's air-blending technology to any existing heater, regardless of brand, no replacement needed.
Do I need a controller separately?

No. Every Saunum Air heater includes the Wi-Fi enabled AirIQ controller, so app-based scheduling and control are built in from the start.
Do I need an electrician to install a Saunum heater?

Yes. All electric sauna heaters require a licensed electrician for installation, regardless of size.
