Sizing depends on your sauna's cubic volume, adjusted for glass, tile, or other heat-losing surfaces. Use our Sauna Heater Calculator to find the right size for your space.
Not directly. A heater's kW rating reflects its maximum output, but maintaining your set temperature typically uses less than half of that maximum. Most of the heat your sauna generates also warms the surrounding room, so very little is wasted.
Yes, for most Harvia electric heaters. Controllers range from simple dial models to WiFi-enabled touchscreens with app control, sold separately so you can match the controller to how you actually use your sauna.
Each series is built for a different setup: Cilindro and Club for free-standing installs, KIP and Virta for wall-mounted installs, and Spirit for a more compact design.
Yes. All electric sauna heaters require a licensed electrician for installation, regardless of size.
